Petboro.com Pet of the Month Contest Rules
This contest is only open to all legal residents of the United States Of America who are 18 years or older.
No purchase is required to enter, vote or win the contest. Your registration must be completely filled out in order to qualify.
Only one entry per household per month is allowed. Pets already entered in the previous month's contest cannot be entered in
consecutive contests. Previous winning households are not eligible for future participation in the contests even
if there are different pets.
The number of eligible entries and participation by each pet owner in getting votes for their pets will determine the odds of winning.
Winners are chosen based on the highest number of votes each month. The contest runs from the first day of the
month through the last of that particular month. Winners will be announced in the first week of the next month.
For example, the winner for the April contest will be announced the first week of May.
All entries must be submitted in the previous month before the contest begins. Voting results from the previous
month are reset for the following month’s contest in order to make it fair for all entries.
Only one winner will be chosen each month. The pet that is chosen in each contest will feature on ou site for one full month.
In the event of a dispute, potential winner may be required to provide proof that the potential winner is the
authorized account holder of the email address associated with the potentially winning entry.
There is NO prize for the winner of the Pet contest.
Employees, officers, and directors of the Kolak, Inc., its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising,
promotion, and fulfillment agencies, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are
not eligible to participate in the contest.
Decisions of Petboro.com and the company (Kolak, Inc.) are final in all instances.
Participants in this promotion agree to be bound by the official rules and decision of Kolak, Inc.. Contest is void
where prohibited or restricted by law.
By entering, winner releases Petboro.com and the company (Kolak, Inc.) and its agents from all
liability with respect to the use of the prizes awarded herein (No prizes are awarded), agrees to be bound by these rules, and consents to
the use of their name (may include city & state) in the announcement of the winners on the Petboro.com site, use
of their name, contact information and likeness for advertising and/or promotional and/or marketing purposes
without additional compensation.
Petboro.com and the company Kolak, Inc. assumes no responsibility for illegible, lost, delayed, misdirected or
incomplete entries, system errors and failures, faulty or delayed transmissions, or any other technical malfunction
of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment,
software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by the Kolak, Inc. on account of technical problems or
traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to
an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or down-loading any material in
the promotion.
All entries become the property of the Kolak, Inc. Kolak, Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion to
suspend, modify or terminate this contest if, in Petboro.com’s opinion, the proper conduct of this contest becomes
unfeasible or corrupted for any reason, in whole or in part, including but not limited to, a computer virus, bug,
computer malfunction, unauthorized human intervention or other causes regardless of their source which affect the
administration, security, fairness or conduct of the Contest.
Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a
violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Kolak, Inc. reserves the right to seek
remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods will void all such entries by such methods. By
participating in the contest, including entering, voting or winning, each individual agrees to release and hold
Petboro.com and the company Kolak, Inc. and the employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives of
Kolak, Inc., its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and
legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection
with the contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation,
personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
Kolak, Inc. reserves the right to revise procedures mentioned in these rules at any time without notice.
If for whatever reason, a person does not wish to be bound by any of the above-mentioned rules, they should NEVER
enter, vote or attempt to win at this contest. This contest has been provided by Petboro.com and the company
Kolak, Inc. as a gesture of goodwill toward the online community and a way to have fun with your pets and should
not be construed as anything else. If you cannot live by these rules, then please do not participate at all
because these rules are binding even if you have neglected to read them all.
